Chart notes
DARK BARON checked behind rivals entering the clubhouse turn, trailed down the backstretch, circled his field four wide on the far turn, made the lead at the top of the stretch, edged clear and prevailed under mild right handed urging. VERBIER never far back, surged late five wide and was steadily cutting into the winners advantage in the final stages. BAYOU MAGIC stalked the pace two wide then along the inside, offered a mild bid into the stretch but was outfinished. GUT INSTINCT away alertly, set the pace to the top of the stretch and faded late. TORREFACTOR with the second flight, was in tight causing his rider to steady at the half mile pole, shifted outside on the far bend then finished evenly. CAPTURETHELAUGHTER vied for the lead along the inside, steadied entering the far turn then dropped out of it. SICILIAN STYLE TWO pressed the pace three wide into the stretch then gave way.
