Chart notes
DOCTOR WU allowed to settle, closed rapidly in the eight path through upper stretch, drifted into the six path after making the lead despite left hand urging at the sixteenth pole then drew off. P MONEY never far back, rallied in the seven path into the stretch, steadied as the winner drifted inward at the sixteenth marker and finished well clear for second. GAME BOY BENNY stalked the early pace, moved closer two wide on the turn then leveled off. OVER THE HILLS sprinted to a daylight lead soon after the start, set the pace until deep stretch then weakened. SOUTHERN SENSE was no threat. OUTKISSED chased the pace three wide and was through after a half. SCRATCHOFF was through early. THE RIDER OF P MONEY LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AT THE SIXTEENTH POLE. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
