Chart notes
ROMAN GRATIS grabbed control early and set the tone up the backstretch, led along the rail through the turn, put to right handed urging in upper stretch and stayed clear to the wire. BEER BUZZ stalked inside a pair of rivals then moved into the two path for the turn, was closest in pursuit through the bend, followed within striking distance into the final furlong, finished willingly late but had to settle for second best. CHARMZ AWAY unhurried in the beginning, advanced along the rail then two wide leaving the bend, drifted out despite right handed urging and was not persevered with in the final sixteenth. OUTWORKER stalked three deep early, lost ground three wide on the turn and weakened in the lane. GREY AREA sent from the gate, chased the leader off the rail then between rivals, altered in from behind BEER BUZZ past the half-mile pole, dropped back to last in the two path on the turn and had little left for the stretch run.
