Chart notes
BOLD BABY was well placed on the inside, eased out and made a bid between rivals nearing the bend, came four wide off the bend and kicked clear by the furlong marker and then held on late to prove best under a drive. THANK THE ACADEMY was reserved early, advanced three to four wide on the turn, came six wide into the lane and lugged in nearing the furlong marker and then was corrected and was gaining late but could not get by the winner. HEAVENS EXPRESS was settled on the inside, saved ground on the turn and cut the corner leaving the turn but lacked a late response while holding on for the show award. POLA OF TROUBLE was reserved early, four to five path on the turn and came seven wide into the lane and had a mild late kick to just miss the show award. NUMERIC pressed the pace three wide and fanned five wide off the bend and weakened in the lane. VINO VELOCE was reserved early, three to four wide on the turn and had no rally. VAL'S GAL was off a step slow, rushed up the inside to set a pressured pace on the inside, two path on the turn and came three wide into the lane while vying for command and gave way.
