RIGHT ON THE MUNNY bore in bumping DRILL CITY at the start, vied for the lead four wide, responded readily when set down, made the lead before the quarter pole then drew off under mild right handed urging to win as much the best. DRILL CITY was bumped by the winner at the start, trailed early, rallied determinedly five wide through the stretch and finished second best. OH LOVER BOY pressed the pace two then three wide into the stretch then was outfinished. HOLIDAYS ARMY BRAT sped to the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace along the inside into the turn, kept on into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. JOHN FITZGERALD stalked the pace along the inside then two wide into the stretch and faded late. DUO failed to menace. THISTLE QUEEN was outrun.
