Chart notes
DR JACK FLYER set the pace along the inside into the far turn, gave up the advantage, shifted out to the six path at the top of the stretch, came on again under right handed urging to make the lead near the sixteenth pole and drew off. REAL NAUGHTY pressed the pace two wide, made the lead midway on the far turn, drifted to the five path entering the stretch, maintained his advantage inside the furlong marker then was no match for the winner. CORONA GRANDE settled inside, shifted out to the five path entering the stretch, drew closer before the furlong marker then leveled off. PEPPER PIKE slow early, passed tiring rivals in the two path through the stretch. SAILOR'S CHANCE stalked the early pace two wide, moved closer three wide on the second turn then came up empty. DIXIE'S TWO STENTS was no factor.
