Chart notes
SALEEN G T broke a bit slow, raced near the back of the field early well off the rail, traveled five then four wide around the turn, moved out a bit further coming into the lane, flew late from outside and got up in time. MAXIMUM SPARKLE stalked from outside in the early going, raced wide into the turn, challenged the top pair from outside past the quarter pole, put both inner rivals away and showed the way clear into the final sixteenth under hand urging, led into the final moments but got nailed at the wire. EXPECT LOVE bumped leaving the gate, vied between horses then dueled from inside, fought inside a pair of foes exiting the bend, was no match for the winner in the furlong grounds but stayed on to secure third. INXPRESS hustled from the gate and vied for the lead for a bit then chased the leaders up the backstretch, lost ground around the bend, entered the lane in the two path and kept trying to gain a minor award. MISS DOUBLE DOWN broke slow and bumped with inner rival, stalked outside a rival into the turn, asked left handed in upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. HAZAEL vied four then three deep briefly before dueling outside EXPECT LOVE for command, fought with that rival through the turn, vied between rivals exiting the bend, yielded at the eighth pole and weakened. C'S LILLY DANCER lacked early speed, trailed off the rail leaving the backstretch, went two then three wide around the bend and failed to menace. MOONLIGHT GREY showed brief speed between rivals then chased the leaders in the early going, dropped back while angling in on the turn, exited the bend in the two path and had little left for the drive.
