DIXON TUFF tracked off the inside out of range then angled to the inside, gained from the fence around the turn, tipped out leaving the bend, drew alongside the top pair midstretch and drove clear. PASSION OF JOE'S pressed the pace then went up to duel for command from inside on the backstretch, fought along the fence on the turn, drifted out in upper stretch, carried a short lead into the final furlong, inched ahead briefly in midstretch, could not offer any resistance to the winner at the sixteenth pole and stayed on to hold second. BLUES RAPPER stalked two wide into the turn, drifted out around the bend and in upper stretch, kept on through the final furlong but could not get by the runner-up for second. UNUSUAL WIN showed the way early under pressure from inner rival then dueled up the backstretch, fought two wide through the turn, drifted out in upper stretch, battled to midstretch, then weakened in the final sixteenth. TOM AND JAZZY bumped and bobbled leaving the gate, chased from off the pace on the inside, tipped out late on the bend and produce a mild rally but failed to threaten. CLASSIC RUNNER tracked out of range in the early stages, went three wide into the turn, exited the bend in the five path and could not rally. MUAY THAI (IRE) bumped with TOM AND JAZZY leaving the gate, traveled two wide into the turn, angled very wide around the bend and could not make an impact. RUN SMITTY RUN stalked off the rail, went three wide into the turn, got floated out wide around the bend and weakened down the lane. HOLLYWOOD HERO dropped back under coaxing, spun three wide into the lane and was never a factor. MIDNIGHT KID lacked early speed, came five wide into the stretch and failed to make an impact. BIG BLUE CAT stalked wide up the backstretch, weakened four, five, then six wide around the turn and tired. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
