Chart notes
BACKDOOR ROYALTY settled off the pace while racing two wide, advanced four wide around the far turn, closed outside and was up in the final strides. DREAM SCHEME pressed the pace three wide, took the lead nearing the far turn, set the pace in the two path around the far turn, dug in to repel a challenge from SPONGE TIME through the lane but was nailed by the winner. SPONGE TIME raced in range two wide, bid in the four path around the far turn, dueled through the lane and was outfinished between the top two. MILAZZO raced off the early pace four wide, moved up down the backstretch, bid between foes in the three path around the far turn and weakened in the lane. WINEGOLD saved ground and failed to menace. TIMBOS TANGLER chased the pace inside and faltered in the lane. ENNEKING threw his head at the start and never reached contention. GOURMET DINNER set the pace in the two path and was through after a half.
