Chart notes
ALTER THE STARS tracked the leaders from five wide through the turn, rallied on the outside down the lane and was up in the final fifty yards. ROYAL ITCH broke sharply to take the lead from the gate, opened a well measured lead through the turn, widened in upper stretch and fought on bravely while tiring in deep stretch to be caught late while still holding the place. HOLIDAY LIGHTS stalked the pace to midway on the turn, rallied turning for home to loom in upper stretch and finished evenly. MALI BALI rated in mid-pack to the head of the lane and mounted a mild stretch bid without serious impact. LATE NITE LIZZIE trailed in the early going and passed weaker rivals coming home. LIVING IN STYLE went evenly never posing a threat. SHES HOT TO TROT was not a factor. PINK PARTY PANTS chased the pace from the inside to the turn and faded on the bend.
