Chart notes
HONOR THE CROSS tracked the leaders from a clear pocket through the turn, angled five wide turning for home, closed well through the lane and was going away a convincing winner at the wire. POLSTER herded to the inside while dueling on the early lead, continued to duel on the lead to mid-stretch, krept away from his presser inside the eighth pole but was no match for the closing winner having been used up in the pace battle. SAILINGTHEISLANDS pressed the pace from four wide dueling to the eighth pole and was outkicked late in the lane in a good effrot. BIGTONTEN pressed the early pacesetter while herding that one toward the rail down the backside, battled from between rivals through the turn and flattened out in the stretch. MIDNIGHT COUNCIL reserved off the pace in mid-pack and showed some mild interest late in the drive. LIBERTANGO chased the leaders through the turn from the inside and lacked a closing bid. ASYMMETRIC went evenly whil caught eight wide turning for home. CALL IT A NIGHT trailed to the top of the stretch, angled nine wide and never proved to be a threat. SHORTLY raced wide down the backstretch while briefly in mid-field contention and steadily faded to the rear.
