Chart notes
KADESH stalked the pace from the inside to the far turn, tipped out three wide on the bend to engage the pacesetter midway on the bend, quickly went clear turning for home and drew off as much best. DIGITAL FOOTPRINT slow early to be the distant trailer down the backstretch, commenced a steady advance on the far turn, swung seven wide around the field for the stretch drive and closed with good, belated interest. GOLD BUCKLE tracked the leaders from five wide to be in striking distance throughout and lacked a closing kick finishing evenly in the lane. HARD ASTRAY set the pace on a clear lead for the first five-eighths, could not go with the winner when challenged on the far turn and weakened in the stretch. CHARGER reserved off the pace to be at the rear of the main body of the field, mounted a mild bid on the final bend and flattened out in upper stretch. BOBBY'S GIFT showed speed for a half to be in early contention and lacked a response when called upon leaving the three-eighths pole and faded coming home.
