Chart notes
MIDWAY VOW forwardly placed while toward the inside, continued to stalk up the backstretch, moved on the leader midway on the second turn, challenged outside the leader, dueled briefly then drove well clear while drifting out a bit under a left handed crop. SHE'S A READER broke on top, showed the way first turn inside, rated in the run up the backstretch, briefly responded when the winner came alongside late in the final turn, proved no match through the lane, clearly second best. OPEN FLAME last away, bothered, moved out and back toward the inside when trailing first turn, continued back, rallied through some traffic three wide into the stretch, slowly getting the runner up late. QUEEN WILHELMINA went one paced toward the inside in lacking a closing response. ALLTAIL in the main body when crowded between horses into the first turn, settled in mid pack, four wide far turn, floated out five wide into the lane, lacked a closing kick. ACTIN' UP lacked early foot, lodged a four wide middle move far turn, gave way in the drive. MOOREA TIME chased off the rail, gave way five furlongs, continued to fade through the lane.
