RUNWAY MAGIC broke well made the front and dueled with UNION DATA through the turn, gained an advantage by the quarter pole then led into the stretch, finished willingly under steady handling but was nailed on the wire in the last jump. CATHOLIC GUILT tracked close up behind the pace while four wide down the backstretch and three wide through the turn, finished with good energy despite racing on the left lead, was closing the gap near the finish but ran out of time. UNION DATA dueled inside to the turn then came under pressure approaching the quarter pole, kept on with good courage but was outkicked in the late stages. DEANOS CAPE settled near the back while holding the inside track, improved position with some belated interest while not posing a serious threat. COUSIN LARRY was last early, well behind the early pace, was put to strong urging on the turn, was improving in the stretch while encountering some traffic. AFFECTIONTO AUTISM contested the front end through the early stages, dropped out of the speed duel before turn, then rebid approaching the quarter pole, had aim on the lead in upper stretch then ran out of gas inside the furlong pole. BARBACOA lacked speed and raced between horses near the back, failed to threaten. EMPERADOR raced four to six wide and was never a threat. SEND OFF was very wide before the turn, was stuck five wide through the turn, then went flat in the stretch. CALL OF HONOR raced wide down the backstretch and lacked a rally. FIFTEEN LOVE BACK raced mid-pack four wide down the backstretch, loomed boldly passing the three-furlong pole, came four to five wide in the stretch and flattened out.
