Chart notes
DAY DAWNING stalked in the two path outside a rival, tipped out in upper stretch, drew alongside GHOSTESS midstretch and drove past. GHOSTESS was closest in pursuit from the two path, ridden along the rail then two wide once more on the far turn, took over in upper stretch, put SPANISH CARA (IRE) away midstretch while being confronted by DAY DAWNING to the outside and could not fend that rival off in the last sixteenth. HOLLY GOQUICKLY (FR) tracked between rivals in the two path, moved inside leaving the backstretch, angled out in the lane and got up for third. HAPPYASACLAM (IRE) sat off the pace outside a pair of rivals, traveled two wide through the far turn, moved into striking distance in upper stretch, finished willingly late but got edged for the show honors. NAKOTA (IRE) tucked inside at the back, passed a rival with three furlongs remaining, tipped off the fence around the bend and improved position. SPANISH CARA (IRE) grabbed the early lead on the inside, set all the pace to the stretch, lost command with a furlong remaining and weakened in deep stretch. MISS HOT AND COLD stalked the speed from inside around both turns and weakened in the drive. SILVER FLIRT reserved on the fence in the opening stages inside rivals, coaxed along past the seven-sixteenths pole, asked while saving ground around the far turn, chased a bit off the rail into the lane and was never a factor. SOUTHERN BLESSING traveled four wide through the first turn, trailed two wide then along the rail on the final turn and failed to threaten.
