Chart notes
VENGANZA saved ground off the pace, angled out at the quarter pole, rallied to the front midstretch, drew clear with sixteenth remaining and held safely. SAFA was off a bit slow to begin, raced two wide off the pace into the turn, got floated out past the quarter pole, finished well down the lane to gain second but could not reach the winner. VIBEZ fractious in the gate, tracked two wide into the turn, crossed onto the dirt a bit awkwardly but was not cost any momentum while moving to the three path, bid between rivals with a furlong remaining but got outkicked in the late stages. CONTROL FUNCTION lacked early speed and trailed in the early stages, traveled on the inside then two wide around the bend, summoned a mild rally down the lane and missed third. VITALERA (CHI) stalked the lone leader outside a rival to the turn, challenged from outside at the quarter pole, took over at the top of the lane, relinquished the lead midstretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. ROYAL CHARTER (GB) raced up close early, followed behind the leader on the inside around the bend, shifted to the two path approaching the dirt and weakened down the lane. MA RAE'S GIRL established the lead quickly, moved to the inside for the turn, tested by outer rival at the quarter pole, lost command at the top of the lane, fought to midstretch and weakened in deep stretch. CLIQUISH settled outside a rival, went three wide into the turn, moved out to the four path around the bend, got floated out past the quarter pole and weakened in the drive.
