Chart notes
CASH SNOW broke in at the start and bothered neighboring rivals, corrected and was hustled to be prominent in the early going, engaged HUSH YER FACE and dueled outside of that runner heading to the quarter marker, battled into the stretch, shook free at the furlong grounds, drifted in a bit into the final sixteenth then edged clear late to prove best. HUSH YER FACE broke alertly and showed good early speed along the rail, engaged CASH SNOW and dueled inside of that runner into upper stretch, stubbornly battled to the furlong grounds, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and was well clear of the rest for the place. SIX EAGLES MOON YOU was crowded at the start and broke a step slowly, chased the pace from the inside along the turn then angled three wide into upper stretch, chased the top pair into the final furlong, could not muster the needed late response and was clear in the end for the show. KING BARON took up start, trailed turn, swung widest upper, came on late. EBW SOLIDASAROCK chased the pace from the outside, ran in pursuit three wide heading to the quarter pole, chased five wide into upper stretch and weakened. JUSTUS was crowded at the break and was off a step slowly, chased the pace from between runners along the turn, ran in pursuit three to four wide into upper stretch and lacked the needed late response. WHERES TEXAS chased the early pace from the outside, ran in pursuit four wide entering the turn, was outrun to the quarter pole then shifted to the rail into upper stretch and failed to threaten in the late stages. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START OF THE RACE. THE STEWARDS DETERMINED CASH SNOW BROKE IN AND IMPEDED SEVERAL RIVALS AT THE START AND DISQUALIFIED CASH SNOW FROM FIRST AND PLACED FOURTH.
