Chart notes
MESA SPIRIT broke inwardly and bumped a rival at the start, vied two wide while being brushed by an inner bidder into the turn, recovered and regained an advantage while shifting out to the five path entering the lane, inched clear then lasted from an outer challenger at the wire. UNCLE BERLEY laid off of the pace in the three path, shifted out to the five, then seven, path in upper stretch, rallied to bid outside of the leader in the final sixteenth but ran out of ground. WE MISS ARLINGTON tracked in the four path, moved to the six path in upper stretch, ran on along with an outer rival into the final furlong, but got outkicked by that one at the sixteenth pole and edged show late. ATRAS raced forwardly along the inside, tugged before being allowed to issue a rail bid inside of the leader at the seven sixteenths pole, brushed that one while forging an advantage into the turn, led narrowly turning for home, but was headed by his outer counterpart entering the lane, kept on through midstretch but faded through the final sixteenth. MAN ON ATTACK was floated inwardly at the start, saved ground off of the pace but to no avail. SHUT UP MAN stalked in the three path and between horses, but yielded in the four path entering the lane, tipped in but lacked a re-rally among foes. ON YOUR MARK tracked in the two path, chased in the three to four path in upper stretch then yielded between rivals in the final furlong. DON'TASK DON'TTELL was bumped by an outer rival, forced inwardly and steadied between foes at the start, trailed in the two path, swung out to the eight path in upper stretch and made little impact.
