Chart notes
PADIDDLE saved ground well back, advanced two wide around the far turn, swung four wide near the quarter pole, closed outside and won going away. PACIFIC FRONT stalked the pace two wide, took the lead near the three-eighths marker, led to midstretch and was clearly second best late. COMPETITIVE THREAT (IRE) saved ground in range, tipped out in upper stretch and was along for the show. COGNOSCENTI broke slowly, chased the pace three wide throughout, bid three deep around the far turn, was in tight quarters in upper stretch and faded. THIS COUNTRY set the pace inside and tired after a mile. ALITTLEBITNAUGHTY failed to menace while racing two wide.
