Chart notes
DEPARTURE off to a slow start, unhurried raced well back to far turn, quickened leaving the quarter pole, four deep closed in convincingly for the score. MR. WHO solo leader leaving the first turn, still in control of the tempo leaving the three eighth pole, collard in upper stretch, unable to switch leads through the lane, fought on gamely between for the place. AWESOME ROAD tracked the pace leaving the first turn, quickened the tempo split rivals leaving the three eighths marker, between foes leaving the sixteenth pole, closed willingly through the wire. CORNISHMAN raced off the pace inside around the first turn, settled in along the rail leaving the three eights marker, clean rail trip through the stretch, out kicked through the final jumps. DIAMOND RIM stalked the pace two deep, under urging lost crop nearing the eighth pole, weakened through the wire. RUN RUDOLF tracked the leaders three wide around the first turn, ranged up to contest the pace down the backside, gave way through the stretch.
