Chart notes
SALTED CARMEL saved ground in midpack, angled three wide in upper stretch, closed between foes and was up late. MUSTA'ED saved ground in range, went two wide around the far turn, took the lead nearing the eighth pole and led until deep stretch. JOHN THE BAPTIST raced off the pace two wide, angled four wide in upper stretch and rallied outside. MIDNIGHT MAESTRO saved ground and failed to menace. MIDNIGHT BOSS stalked the pace in the two path, took the lead midway down the backstretch, drew clear in the two path rounding the far turn, led to midstretch and weakened. PROMISSIONE played no factor while racing two and three wide. MAX N FIFO led in the four path around the first turn, chased outside down the backstretch and around the far turn while still appearing to try to get out and retreated through the lane.
