Chart notes
LATTA tracked close up on the inside, saved ground waiting for room on the turn, made a strong rail bid at the quarter pole, quickly took over, drew off and was ridden out. ACTION HERO raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn, rallied mildly on the rail and got up for second. MISTER LINCOLN set the pace racing with a short lead, dueled between rivals at the quarter pole, dug in through the lane and lost second. TORPEDO RUN stalked close up two wide, chased on the turn, bid three wide at the quarter pole, dug in to midstretch and weakened. MALIBLUE was bumped at the start, pulled two wide between rivals, steadied at the half mile marker, then chased, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. CARCHAROTH was bumped at the start, raced off the rail, off the pace and did not factor.
