Chart notes
GOLDEN ALE went up to take control from CODE FIVE and set a pressured pace from inside, kicked clear on the turn, then drew away under urging in the lane. ULTIMATE stalked off the rail then between rivals, chased two wide then three wide into the lane, could not summon the needed rally to threaten the winner but managed to outduel WELTON for the place. WELTON bumped by inner rival leaving the gate, stalked off the rail then angled inside for the turn, saved ground to the stretch, lacked a bid in the furlong grounds and got outdueled for second. BUCK OWENS chased widest up the backstretch, bumped inner rival four deep early on the bend, spun five wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. EXXEL broke out and bumped WELTON at the start, steadied past the half-mile pole, drifted six wide around the bend and lacked the needed response. CODE FIVE sent from the gate, pressed the pace from outside, chased three then four wide on the turn and faded. HEY NOW was off slow to begin, chased three deep then between rivals, got bumped from outside and put in tight early on the turn, went two wide into the lane and came up empty. RACE SEVEN WAS HAND-TIMED.
