Chart notes
KALAHARI NOT SORRY sprinted off to a clear early lead, controlled the pace, rivals closed in near the three eighths pole and held well to remain clear late under steady handling. SOCIALLY AWKWARD tracked the top pair near the rail and kept on to be second best. MAX BARLEY void of early speed, swung six wide into the upper stretch and moved up late to improve position. CHAIN LIGHTNING veered out at the break, raced near the back after the poor start, raced five wide into the upper lane but had no solid rally. MCCRAKENS GHOST tracked the early leader just off the inside and weakened through the drive. EASTER BET raced three to four wide around the far turn and lacked a bid. MIDNIGHT TEMPESTA was off slowly, lost ground while being done early and never menaced. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
