Chart notes
BOURBON THIEF raced two wide in midpack, angled to the rail near the quarter pole, burst through inside of the pacesetter in upper stretch and held firm late. TARNEEMA saved ground in range, angled three wide near the quarter pole and finished willingly. SUGAREE (IRE) steadied into the first turn, trailed inside, advanced four and five wide around the far turn and ran on for the show while getting in through the stretch. STARSHIP BOEING set the pace inside and weakened in the drive. BALLADO'S BEACH (ARG) failed to menace while racing two and three wide. SHOW OFF raced in range three wide and lacked a closing bid. SUNNY SPELL (IRE) prompted the pace two wide and faltered after a mile.
