Chart notes
DISARM stalked the pace while outside, advanced and challenged in the four path turning for home, took over a furlong out then held the runner up at bay late. BENDOOG lacked early foot toward the inside, four wide and behind the winner in some traffic into the lane, angled inside that one with a furlong to run, denied. CLASSIC CAR WASH pressed the leader from the outside, challenged between horses and inside the winner turning for home, not enough for that one or the runner up the final furlong. HORACE MANN broke in good order, set the pace inside, weakened when headed entering the stretch. TONKA WARRIOR off a step slow, remained back. ZATARA also away slowly, trailed most of the way and was never a factor. IN A JAM forwardly placed for six furlongs along the inside, gave way in the drive.
