Chart notes
G'S FIREBALL tracked in the three path, took command midway around the far turn, kicked away turning into the stretch, began to shorten stride in the final furlong, but held on. MIKEY'S JEWEL bumped with an inner foe at the start, chased in the three path, was driven around the far turn, swung from the five path into the stretch, was gaining quickly late, but ran out of time. DESI'S REWARD broke out and bumped an outer foe, set clear pace out in the four path but gaveway in the two path down the stretch. BEACHGRASS bumped between foes at the start, trailed in the four path early and did not factor. CRICKET WEST was wellback in the two path and never threatened. LA TACHE chased in the two path but was no menace. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
