Chart notes
MALIBU WARRIOR tracked in the four path, bid passing the half, took command while being coaxed along passing the three-eighths pole, and drew clear on his left lead in the two path down the lane. COVE BAY BOY had an awkward start and bumped with an outer foe, chased in the five path, took aim at the top of the stretch, but was second best. ROWDY WARRIOR set the pace inside, backed up around the far turn, but held show. SPECTACULAR JEDI bumped with an inner foe at the start, was wellback along the inside and never a factor. SMALLSCHOOL WONDER pressed the early pace in the two path but retreated. GOLLUM was reluctant to load, rated in the five path but never menaced. SPEZIA'S SON steadied at the start and always trailed. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
