Chart notes
HASHTAGMAKITHAPPEN broke outward and bumped into SUPER EKATI at the start, then made the lead before going a furlong and was pressed by SNOMAGEDDON from the start, shook away from the field at the top of the stretch and drew clear under steady handling. OBVIOUS CONCLUSION was slow to begin and not bothered when ROMAN EAGLE cut across the path after the start, chased the field to the turn then made a mild three wide rally, could not catch the winner but outfinished the rest. SIPPIN SCOTCH settled mid-pack then advanced through the turn, had a big hole to run through at the top of the stretch, finished willingly but was outkicked in the final yards. ROMAN EAGLE ducked in toward the gap shortly after the start, rushed up into contention and was just off the lead on the rail going into the turn, came under pressure approaching the quarter pole and finished willingly up the real then weakened in the final furlong. SUPER EKATI took up at the start when HASHTAGMAKITHAPPEN took the path at the start, was put into a drive from the half-mile pole came five wide into the stretch but could not sustain the bid. SNOWMAGEDDON was pushed from the start to get forward position, stalked and pressed HASHTAGMAKITHAPPEN through the early stages, the upped the pressure on the turn, went a little wide on the turn and faltered under pressure. WEEKEND KASH raced close up four wide to the turn, dropped out of it before the quarter pole and trailed the rest to the finish.
