Chart notes
LION OF JUSTICE sprinted to the early lead, set a controlled pace along the inner rail down the backstretch and around the turn, responded when asked in upper stretch and was twice lightly tapped with a left hand stick while eagerly drawing away. DETTORI , bumped by CHRISTMAS SPIRIT leaving the starting gate, was patiently handled down the backstretch, began to advance three deep aournd the turn, was well positioned in upper stretch, finished gamely but was second best. FROSTED BULL came out and brushed with CHRISTMAS SPIRIT leaving the starting gate, lacked speed, was in the two path leaving the turn, swung to the four path near the three sixteenths pole, stayed outside horses and passed tired ones. RICHARD FEYNMAN , three wide outside horses leaving the backstretch, chased the pace from the two path around the turn and weakened in upper stretch. ANNIHILATE 'EM broke alertly, raced between horses down the backstretch, swung wide leaving the turn and passed tired rivals. HASTEN prompted the pace outside the winner to the stretch, tired and dropped back through the lane. CHRISTMAS SPIRIT stumbled, was brushed by FROSTED BULL then bore out bumping DETTORI soon after the break, saved ground on the turn stalking the pace and gave way approaching the stretch.
