SUMMONING DENIS tracked the pace four deep down the backside, quickened the tempo three wide leaving the quarter pole, collared the leader nearing the eighth pole, wore down that rival through the final sixteenth, cleared in the final jump. HURRICANE ALERT set a tepid solo pace leaving the first turn and down the backside, felt the footsteps headed to the final bend, along the rail roused on leaving the quarter pole, dug in through the final sixteenth, gave in grudgingly. SCARE DEM tracked the leaders inside into the final bend, still well off the pace leaving the quarter pole, shifted out into the two path leaving the furlong marker, chased evenly through the wire. STROLLINGINTHEWIND stalked the leader two deep into the final bend, lost ground leaving the quarter pole, flattened out through the stretch. SARGENT KOBE trailed throughout. FOOL FOR THE CITY bad step first turn, taken off the via equine ambulance.
