ROY HOBBS was bumped lightly a few times passing the five-and-one-half pole, moved out just off the rail tracking in behind with good forward position into the turn, moved out to come four wide past the quarter pole advancing on the leaders, took over in upper stretch and was asked for more, responded to draw clear and continued going away in hand late. HERMELINDA'S FANCY settled off the pace, was nearly mid-pack on the turn racing four to five wide, swung eight to nine deep for the drive, was no match for the winner but clearly second best. SIX HOT GRANDS was urged from the start, chased going four wide on the turn, kept on in the stretch while a bit wider but needed more. NAUKANAUKA dueled outside three then four wide, lugged out in the stretch and weakened. LAURA'S KIDOUGH broke out just a bit, lacked early speed despite encouragement, fanned out six wide turning for home then was guided a bit further to the outside, improved position. STEVE'S BIG TICKET unhurriedly brought up the rear early, began to advance outside foes from the back late on the turn, fanned seven wide turning into upper stretch then was guided out a bit further, passed rivals while running on evenly. TRAVEL THE MAP bumped with a rival a few times in the early going, chased in behind the leaders off the inside in the two to three path, was encouraged along from the five-sixteenths, ran on evenly. EVERTORIANO shifted in, failed to threaten. LURKING FEAR exchanged repeated light bumps between runners early, chased close up but dropped back from the seven-sixteenths racing in the two to three path, weakened. SIR LUCAS dueled inside a rival but off the fence, came up empty.
