Chart notes
PLUM WINE broke a step slow, raced off of the pace along the inside, saved ground before awaiting racing room nearing the lane, moved out to the five to six path entering the final furlong and rallied to reel in the leader in the shadow of the wire. MY IDEA got rank and dropped back at the start, laid towards the rear along the inside before moving out to the four path into the backstretch, circled rivals with a five path rally around the far turn, sustained a bid to vie into the final furlong, led into the final sixteenth but got caught by an outer bidder nearing the wire. MIA ANTONIA stalked close up in the three path before getting a bit keen just off of the leaders in the two path down the backstretch, then chased along the rail into the final furlong, sustained pursuit and edged show at the wire. BROKE DRAW vied for the lead with an inner rival while tucking from the five path to the three path into the backstretch, battled into the final furlong as an outer foe issued a bid, but got outkicked by a pair of foes in the final furlong and got nailed for show by an inner bidder at the wire. ATTILA THE SPUN vied for the lead with an outer rival while a bit keen in the two path around the first turn, fought on through midstretch but yielded between rivals in the final furlong. SUGAR CANE GAL trailed while getting floated from the three to five path into the backstretch, tucked to two path with five furlongs to go, continued to trail behind rivals turning for home then improved position. CHAPELLETE laid off of the pace in the three path, chased in the four path around the far turn, floated out to the six to seven path into midstretch and lacked a bid. BEAT THE DOUBLE got fractious and reared in the starting gate, tracked in the two path around the first turn, pursued in the three path and between rivals approaching the far turn, swung out to the seven path entering the lane and failed to factor while hanging on his left lead. GRACE AND MERCY tracked from the three to four path, chased in the three path around the far turn, weakened between horses entering the lane and was eased thereafter.
