Chart notes

MOONLIGHT trailed in the two path early on, advanced two to three wide around the far turn to bid for the lead entering the lane, drove clear while drifting out leaving upper stretch and was put to hand with a sixteenth to go. BATTLEOFLEXINGTON bumped with an inner rival leaving the gate, laid off of the pace in the two path, tracked while inching closer along the inside around the far turn, got outmoved by an outer rival nearing the lane, chased that clearing rival from the two to three path in upper stretch, claimed place passing the furlong pole and was second best. WARHOL was bumped by an inner rival at the start, set the pace in the two path, then along the inside around the far turn, but offered little resistance to an outer bidder's challenge entering the lane, gave way yet lasted for show. NEXT LEVEL laid off of the pace in the four path, retreated to trail with five furlongs to go, yet regained stride to advance entering the lane, but drifted outwardly in upper stretch, then failed to reel in a tiring rival for show late. FUNNYFLAME broke awkwardly and was off slow, yet was sent forward to track along the inside, took aim outside of the leader around the far turn, but only offered a mild bid before weakening between horses entering the lane. RAMPAGIUS bumped with an outer foe at the start, pursued from midpack in the three to four path, chased in the five path around the far turn, floated out to the seven path into the lane and tired. THERMOSCAT leaned outwardly and bumped a foe at the start, then checked inside of the leader while attempting to bear out into the first turn, recovered to stalk outside of that one and from the three path, but weakened between horses into the far turn and was eased through the lane.
