Chart notes
SMART SPENDING hit the starting gate, raced off the pace three wide, swung six wide in upper stretch, surged outside under hand urging and drew clear late. FLORIBUNDA pressed the pace two wide, took the lead near the five-sixteenths marker, drew clear in upper stretch, yielded near the sixteenth pole but held clear of the rest. ADAAY IN ASIA (GB) stalked the pace three wide, bid near the quarter pole but flattened out a bit in the lane. GALLEY HEAD chased the pace from the rail, steadied in upper stretch, tipped out and ran on for a minor share. CENTER STAGE broke slowly, steadied into the first turn, raced well back two wide around that bend, made progress three deep rounding the far turn, shifted five wide in upper stretch and lacked the needed rally. MUSICAL ROMANCE (GB) bumped at the start, raced in range two wide and lacked a closing bid. KIZZY set the pace along the rail, yielded midway around the far turn and weakened through the lane. TRENDY bumped at the start, saved ground and made little further impact.
