Chart notes
ROYAL HALO , urged along while saving ground, gathered steam leaving the three eighths, advanced to the inside of a pair of rivals nearing the lane, shifted out four wide, closed in under right handed asks, reeled in the tiring leader from his outside in deep stretch and proved best. HEZADOOZIE , four wide outside rivals heading to the turn, gave hard chase outside a foe mid turn, circled five wide into the stretch and closed willingly to nab the place outside EDDIE CROSSWIRE. EDDIE CROSSWIRE was hustled along pursuing the loose leader, raced three wide and to the inside of a rival past the five sixteenths, kept on willingly, gained between rivals but was edged for second. CODE CHARLIE hopped at the break but quickly recovered and sprinted clear, opened up a long lead into the turn, set the pace two to three wide into the lane, shortened stride near the sixteenth pole and weakened. GONNA GETCHA GOOD hopped at the break to be away a step slow, was shuffled back soon after, circled about six wide into the stretch and closed belatedly. THIRSTY THURSDAY , away alertly, failed to go on with the leader but stayed around to pursue, was under a hustling ride saving ground into the stretch and came up empty in the final furlong. BARE BACK JACK , off the pace, raced four wide into the lane and failed to menace. YANKEE HUMOR drifted in crowding a rival soon after the break, chased three wide between rivals, steadied when in close into the turn, dropped back and failed to muster up a late kick. SAINT PIO was forced in early by YANKEE HUMOR, raced well off the pace into and around the turn, came two wide for the drive and failed to menace.
