Chart notes
GUILE tracked in the two to three path, took aim outside of the top pair approaching the far turn, bid outside of the new leader turning for home and edged clear through the lane. MALIBU RAIN dueled for the lead with an outer rival into the backstretch, backed off to stalk approaching the nine sixteenths pole, rebid outside of that one as an outer GUILE took aim into the far turn, led along the inside while that one issued a bid turning for home, but got headed by that one in upper stretch and was second best. MOONOVERMONTGOMERY trailed in the four path, improved outside of rivals around the far turn to gain show entering the lane and ran on willingly. KEE JEE laid off of the pace along the inside, chased in the three path around the far turn gained show leaving the five sixteenths pole but was outkicked by an outer foe entering the lane, then failed to threaten. JOEYBONES broke a step slow, raced off of the pace three wide, lacked a response to urging in the two path around the far turn, moved out to the four path in upper stretch and failed to factor. COUNTRY CUT raced off of the pace two wide and between horses early on, trailed along the inside around the far turn and made little impact. WHOLE LOTTA LUTE dueled for the lead with an inner rival and from the three to two path into the backstretch, built a clear margin and crossed over to the inside with nine sixteenths to go, but was swiftly overhauled by his earlier counterpart's outer rebid into the far turn and faltered.
