DOS VICIOS was not asked for speed from the break and settled in back of the field, circled the field on the far turn, came about seven wide into the stretch and rallied well under strong handling to prevail. DUPLICATION broke well but opted to sit behind the pace through the early stages, raced three wide then launched a bid with three furlongs to run, turned into the stretch with the lead but could not hold off the winner but did well to hold the place. SUNNY SPOT was off a step slow then went immediately to the rail when clear, made a middle move three wide through the far turn and continued a sustained advance down the stretch to gain third while no threat to the top pair. MOVE OVER (GB) deftly angled to the rail before the first turn, advanced into contention late on the second bend but became boxed in late on the turn, did not get clear until deep stretch then was outkicked to the finish. SWAMPDRAINER raced evenly three wide throughout. THIRTY SECONDS OUT bobbled slightly at the start, but showed good speed and vied inside through the first turn, raced close up down the backstretch while behind held up to keep a stalking position, was stuck behind horses on the turn while full of run, could not get clear until the furlong marker, swung out out to the four path, was gaining late but ran out of time. ROBO tracked mid-pack through the early stages then was starting to make a move on the turn, had to check and alter course to avoid OSTINI who was backing up, was still with run and swung seven our eight wide into the stretch but flattened out. HAPI HAPI was pushed early but unable to contest the pace, settled three wide with the second group, steadied two or three times into the far turn to avoid running up heels, came about nine wide into the stretch to find clear run then finished evenly in the stretch. PACO'S PICO broke well and vied for the early lead without really being asked, dueled inside through moderate fractions to the far turn, remained a factor to upper stretch then tired. AQUACAT tracked at the head of the second group down the backstretch, took up at the three furlong marker then steadied again to avoid OSTINI who was backing up rapidly, lost momentum and was not pushed hard through the late stages. SHUT UP MICHAEL (IRE) was hustled to get forward position then went three wide through the first turn, pressed the pace down the backstretch, was making a bid for the lead at the quarter pole then got overtaken in upper stretch and faded in the late stages. OSTINI vied between horses on the lead, dropped off the pace and faded quickly through the field at the three furlong marker and was not persevered with in the stretch.
