RACE DAY REBAL hopped at the start, quickly recovered to be forwardly place to prompt the early leader from the outside, dug in late and got up under all out pressure. DESOTO'S WAR showed good early speed from the inside, dug in and missed in a game effort. QUARTER RAT stalked the pace, raced three wide near the quarter pole and finished willingly to the wire. ONCE UPON A DREAM dropped back off the top trio, made a good rail bid in the lane and had not enough in the drive. LEADING THE CAUSE settled off the early going, raced three wide near the quarter pole and lacked a solid bid. CONTACT TRACING traced the top trio from the inside and weakened. JUST A IRISH LAD saved ground and never threatened. WIN FOR FUN raced wide throughout and never was involved.
