Chart notes
AMBIVALENT tracked in the four path, inched closer while fanning to the six path entering the lane, took aim on the new leader before offering a bid in upper stretch, sparked a duel entering the final furlong and gradually edged past. FELIX broke a beat slow, prompted outside of the top pair before vying with them while hung in the five path around the turn, wrestled an advantage turning for home, led as an outer foe took aim in upper stretch, gamely sparred with that bidder into deep stretch but was bested late. GILDED RULER raced off of the pace in the two to three path, shifted out to the five to six path in midstretch while running on, then moved up to gain show at the wire. KAVOD got outbroke by an outer rival, shifted out and rushed forward to vie outside of that one early on, sparred in the four path and between rivals around the turn, got headed by his outer counterpart at the five sixteenths pole, yielded approaching midstretch then lost show at the wire. UNCLE BERLEY trailed in the three to four path, floated out to the seven path in midstretch and improved willingly. SON OF A BIRCH stalked along the inside, chased into the lane, lacked a bid and got outkicked by outer rivals late. HONKY TONK HIGHWAY vied for the lead with a pair of outer rivals into the turn, yielded to them nearing the lane, kept on in pursuit through midstretch but weakened through the final sixteenth.
