Chart notes
FATTOUSH led the way on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and drew off in the lane. SUNDAY SONG tracked the pace setter on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and improved position in the stretch. FIGHT TIL DAWN trailed the field up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path, began a bid in the final furlong and gained ground in late stretch. SHOW BOAT pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the three path around the turn and weakened in the lane. FIFTY ONE FIFTY raced off the pace on the inside early, swung out to the three path coming around the bend and made no bid. VINO GRIGIO hopped up and veered out leaving the gate, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the stretch.
