Chart notes
HOLLYWOOD MAYHEM veered in and bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, recovered to duel from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, and held off a closer to the finish. WESTERN SHAFT bumped with the horses to both sides and was pinched back at the start, trailed the field up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the turn, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late. THUNDER CANE tracked the leaders on the inside early, navigated the turn from the two path and improved position in late stretch. COASTERTOTHEMOON chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the bend in the three path and was outkicked in the lane. NOBLE FORCE bumped with the horse to his outside at the break, stalked the pace setters on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and faded from there. RED CANDY APPLE dueled on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the turn and tired in the stretch. THE RIDER OF HORSE FIVE, WESTERN SHAFT, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE SIX, HOLLYWOOD MAYHEM, CITING INTERFERENCE AT THE START. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
