Chart notes
COOL COUPLE set the pace under steady pressure from the runner-up, repelled that one's bid at the quarter pole, responded when called upon in upper stretch and drew away as much best under mild urging. MR. FREDERICKSON was bumped by inside rival leaving the gate, drifted in two paths shortly away from the gate crowding inside rivals, raced forwardly to press the pace, made a bid to challenge the winner nearing the quarter pole, failed to get passed as no match and finished willingly as second best. SKIPPY TOWN was crowded shortly away from the gate when the runner-up drifted in, dropped out to be the early trailer and showed some late interest in the lane to gain the show. ON THE BUBBLE tracked the pace down the backside and never posed a threat going evenly without impact. LIFE'S ONE broke outward to bump the runner-up, was rankin the early going when crowded in return by that one, chased the pace down the backside and faded coming home. THE RIDER OF SKIPPY TOWN CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RUNNER-UP FOR INTERFERENCE AWAY FROM THE GATE, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
