Chart notes
BUCKEYE ROSE prompted the early pace, took command on the turn, opened a clear lead when called upon turning for home and finished well to be unthreatened in the lane. OLYMPIC WINGS stalked the pace to midway on the turn, rallied to loom at the quarter pole, could not match the winner and finsihed willingly as second best. THELMA LUCILLE unhurried in the early going to be near the rear of the field, commenced a steady advance on the turn and showed good late interest to be up for the show. SHE'S A SOLDIER tracked the leaders to the quarter pole to be within striking distance and lacked a closing kick coming home. PENNY'S TREASURE chased the pace down the backside, lost position on the turn and went evenly without impact. C MORE PRIDE broke outward, taken in hand to be the trailer and passed tiring rivals in the lane. HERE COMES DOLLY raced in the back half of the field well off the pace down the backside, made a rally on the turn to contend and flattened out in the stretch. COWGIRL SARA showed brief speed to be the early leader and gave way on the turn.
