Chart notes
GONZAGA showed speed along the inner rail, dueled throughout and prevailed in an extended drive. BIG STETSON battled outside the winner the final half mile in a game performance. CHASIN A DOLLAR chased the pace, raced in the two path around the turn, drifted out bumping with REGARDING HARRY entering the stretch and failed to rally. REGARDING HARRY chased the pace from the three path on the turn, drifted five wide leaving the bend, bumped with CHASIN A DOLLAR turning for home and failed to menace. CAGEY BURGLAR bore out leaving the starting gate, stalked the pace four deep leaving the backstretch, moved to the two path entering the stretch and finished willingly inside horses. DADDY GENE , slow to begin, chased the pace inside horses leaving the backstretch, stayed in the two path on the turn and gave way in upper stretch. An objection by the rider of REGARDING HARRY against CHASIN A DOLLAR for alleged interference at the top of the stretch was not allowed.
