Chart notes
EYE DEE KAY saved ground while being reserved off the early pace, angled out three-wide nearing the quarter pole, quickly took the lead and drew clear. TWIRLING ROSES dueled with WHISKEY AND EASY for the lead from along the outside, responded when headed by the winner and finished well for second. WHISKEY AND EASY dueled with TWIRLING ROSES for the lead from along the inside to the stretch and held on well for third. VERACRUZIN was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, came five-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally when asked. ONASA saved ground chasing the pace, angled out to be three-wide entering the stretch and weakened. GLOBAL STAGE hopped at the start then was unhurried, rallied six-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. CALL ME MIDNIGHT hopped at the start then raced in the back of the field and failed to be a factor.
