Chart notes
STOOPS SINE DIE dueled for the early lead from the inside, dug in late and just got up under all out pressure. MALADJUSTED MISFIT under a hard early chase, saved ground past the three sixteenths pole, angled out four wide and surged up late to just miss. REGINALD AURELIUS dueled two deep from the outside of foe and kept on gamely to the wire. DRAW THE FOUL chased two to three wide and had not enough. HURTS SO GOOD had an inside run and needed more. DARNQUICK raced four wide around the far turn and had no response. PATIO'S PORCH dropped back early and failed to respond. AUDACE was off slowly and trailed.
