Chart notes
WORLD TRAVELER raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far bend, and dueled gamely the length of the stretch to just hold the win. PLAY FREE BIRD raced in the three path early, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the second turn and dug in gamely in the lane, dueling to the wire to just miss. DIAMONDS FOR LILY saved ground around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn, and could not go with the top two entering the stretch, but switched to the outside to chase those two home from there. LADY LAOBAN raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, continued around the far bend still in the two path and never threatened. SWIGERT hit the gate leaving it, saved ground early, trailed the field up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and made no bid. R AWESOME SAUCE raced in tight quarters while saving ground around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second turn and tired in the lane.
