Chart notes
CALL ANOTHER PLAY , brushed at the start, was taken to rate soon after and saved ground, edged up in hand and behind foes near the half, worked outward and circled four wide into the lane, closed in under pressure and took over outside STOP THE CAP with a furlong to go, kicked clear under left handed encouragement near the sixteenth pole then held firm while taken in hand for the final yards. DOCTOR ABBIE lagged well back through the opening three furlongs, gathered momentum mid turn, swung out five to six wide for the drive and closed steadily through the final furlong. STOP THE CAP rated to the inside of a rival, crept closer while saving ground into the far turn, moved through along the rail to engage the leader into the stretch, took over soon after, dug in when confronted by the winner nearing the eighth pole, fought on to about the sixteenth marker then faded. LOVELY CHARM prompted the pace three wide outside the leader, was under pressure between rivals heading towards the lane, gave futile chase into the lane, shifted in for the drive, but lacked a solid finish while switching over to her left lead. BAY STREET sped up to the inside of rivals and went clear early, set the pace two wide, was joined from her inside by STOP THE CAP approaching the stretch, lacked a kick past the three sixteenths and faded. DON'T TELL KELLY , three to four wide stalking the pace, ranged up mid turn, pursued into the stretch then weakened in the final furlong.
