Chart notes
MR JAWS tracked in md-pack a few lengths from the front, took over the lead at the half mile pole and went away from the rest, extended the lead through the stretch and won driving. BRADIX inherited the lead and managed to slow the pace down to a brisk walk, quickened at the half-mile marker but surrendered the lead to MR JAWS, could not go with that one from the turn but kept to task and save the place. XANDER S tracked close up to the pace under a bit of a hold, did not go on when MR JAWS slipped away on the turn but kept on well enough to hold third. GRIND JIM settled two wide near the back of the fairly compact field, then made a forward move late on the turn but could not sustain the bid and went evenly in the stretch. TRADE TRAVELER settled inside near the back and lacked a rally. HANK RIDGE was outrun and far back to the far turn, passed a couple of tired ones in the stretch. KEEP A COPY was caught four wide throughout, started to run on with three furlongs to run but stalled out quickly and had little to offer in the stretch. IRISH BILLY settled near the rear of the field through the early stages and never improved or threatened.
